ICA (Second Tier) Fees

The standard AGA fee for an ICA application is $220-00 plus GST (ie for a single appliance). Multiple appliances to be installed at a single location may attract additional AGA fees and customers in such circumstances should contact AGA for a formal quote. Please remember that the following charges (which are listed under jurisdictional testing regimes) are in addition to the AGA application fee:

Origin Energy � Brisbane (NB: these charges will be applied by Origin directly to the applicant)

1                    Installation in Metropolitan Area (0-100kms)

Single appliance - $200.00 plus GST (ie $220.00)

Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $100.00 plus GST (ie $110.00)

2                    Installations in regional Areas (Over 100kms)

Single appliance - $400.00 plus GST (ie $440.00)

Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $100.00 plus GST (ie $110.00)

Retesting after Failure (0-100kms) - $100.00 plus GST (ie $110.00)

Retesting after Failure (100kms and Over) - $320.00 plus GST (ie $352.00)

These prices are fixed and firm for a 12-month period and subject to Origin Energy�s terms and conditions of sale. Please note additional travel costs may be allocated or negotiated by the testing agent with the applicant. (Effective July 2006 � June 2007, unless varied by Origin).

APA Group Appliance Testing � Adelaide (NB: these charges will be applied by APA Group directly to the applicant)

APA Group Appliance Testing, Adelaide will provide a competitive quote to customers prior to conducting the on-site 2nd Tier Test Quotes based on expected hours to conduct testing, associated admin and include travel time allowance. Typical charge for metro area is $600 depending of course on appliance type and travel time. Quotes cover a single test of the appliance and additional charges may be incurred as a result of:

Re-testing due to non-compliance

Access not available at time of arrival

Energy Safe Victoria (formerly The Office of Gas Safety) (NB: these costs will be added to the AGA fee and applied directly by AGA to the applicant)

1                    Installation in Melbourne Metropolitan Area (0-50kms)

Single appliance - $180.00 plus GST (ie $198.00)

Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $90.00 plus GST (ie $99.00)

2                    Installations in regional Areas (Over 50-100kms)

Single appliance - $225.00 plus GST (ie $247.50)

Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $90.00 plus GST (ie $99.00)

3                    Installations in regional Areas (Over 100-200kms)

Single appliance - $300.00 plus GST (ie $330.00)

Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $90.00 plus GST (ie $99.00)

4                    Installations in regional Areas (Over 200kms)

Single appliance - $400.00 plus GST (ie $440.00)

Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $90.00 plus GST (ie $99.00)

Retesting after Failure (per appliance)

(0-50kms) - $100.00 plus GST (ie $110.00)
(50-100kms) - $145.00 plus GST (ie $159.50)
(100-200kms) - $220.00 plus GST (ie $242.00)
(over 200kms) - $320.00 plus GST (ie 352.00)

These prices were established by ESV to cover the period July 2005-June 2006 and as yet no change in pricing has been advised. Please note additional travel costs for more remote parts may be negotiated by the testing agent directly with the applicant. b. Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $125.00 + GST

c. Retesting after failure (per appliance) - $150.00 + GST

2.      Installations in Metropolitan Areas (50 - 100 km)

a. Single appliance - $375.00 + GST

b. Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $125.00 + GST

c. Retesting after failure (per appliance) - $250.00 + GST

3.      Installations in Areas (Over 100 km)

a. Single appliance - $375.00 + GST Plus travel costs; calculated at $80.00 + GST for each additional 50 km segment beyond the first 100 km radius (ie from Burnwell Gas Services Pty Ltd at West Pennant Hills).

b. Each additional identical appliance being installed at the same location at the same time - $125.00 plus GST

c. Retesting after failure (per appliance) - $200.00 + GST Plus travel costs; calculated at $80.00 + GST for each additional 50 km segment beyond the first 100 km radius (ie from Burnwell Gas Services Pty Ltd at West Pennant Hills).
