To help ensure AGA customers are kept up-to-date about important industry changes, the following message is currently being emailed to Certificate Holders.
TO ALL AGA CERTIFICATE HOLDERS
Most of you will know of the recent purchase of the Enertech Laboratory by SAIG Global, a commercial organisation that offers certification services in competition with AGA. Until its sale to SAI Global, the Enertech Laboratory had been one of the independent laboratories providing testing services to some AGA customers. Importantly, the other testing laboratories remain independent and continue to be available to assist you with any certification testing services that you require.
As you know, AGA is a very experienced and reputable not-for-profit industry association that has been providing independent product certification services for many, many decades. AGA exists for your specific benefit and for the industry in general, not financial investors and shareholders.
The purpose of this brief message is to ensure that you are aware of the changed circumstances of the Enertech Laboratory and to reassure you that it is "business as usual" for AGA and the remaining independent testing laboratories. I also wish to assure you that AGA will continue to seek better ways to service your certification needs, and will continue to use our excellent working relationships with technical regulators to achieve the best possible solutions to your certification and other product safety needs.
