AGA AUTHORISED LABORATORIES
For a laboratory to be eligible for consideration as an AGA Authorised Laboratory, it must first satisfy one of the following two requirements:
1. Accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) having a scope of accreditation covering the testing requirements of the applicable product standards.
2. Accredited by an International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) signatory and having a scope of accreditation covering the testing requirements of the applicable product standards.
AGA does take other factors into account when assessing any application by a laboratory to be recognised as an AGA Authorised Laboratory and these factors are designed to ensure an enduring, productive and independent working relationship between the parties and, as appropriate, to support other certification related services.
The following contact information relates to independent laboratories registered by The Australian Gas Association (AGA) to conduct and report on AGA certification testing.
NB: Customers contract directly with laboratories, whose fees and charges are completely separate from AGA fees. AGA does not receive any part of the fees or charges paid to laboratories.

Important Note: Customers are required to provide NATA (or equivalent as described above) Test Reports for AGA Certification purposes. As laboratories may not be accredited by NATA to perform all types of test work, it is incumbent upon the Customer to check, and receive formal confirmation, that their selected laboratory is fully accredited to conduct and issue a report on the relevant test programme.
