The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is affecting the way we all live and work. In Australia as a result of the virus many thousands of people have lost their jobs and many companies are facing serious challenges. Each evening we hear the terrible statistics of its toll and our thoughts go out to our friends around the world. The health ramifications are chillingly confronting, as are the social and economic implications.
The far-reaching effects of the virus are changing very rapidly, as are the measures being put in place by the Australian government and the state and territory governments in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19.
AGA is following advice from government and health professionals and, accordingly, to protect the health and safety of our staff as well as the staff of AGA Members and clients all AGA premises have been closed to visitors and meetings will be facilitated via telephone, FaceTime, video conferencing, Skype or similar means.
For the duration of the COVID-19 crisis our normal Reception will be unattended, however, you can ring your Client Manager direct on their mobile or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and leave your details and we will contact you as quickly as possible.
AGA, like most organisations, has had to make some adjustments to the way we work in order to continue to provide product certification and laboratory testing services to industry whilst protecting the health and safety of your staff and AGA personnel alike. Many of the changes are to internal procedures and practices and will not be apparent to AGA’s customers. In cases where we have had to change the way we engage with customers we will be notifying those customers individually.
Rest assured, the changes we have made will not adversely impact our operational functionality and, as always, the AGA team remains committed to serving our industry and community during this time of uncertainty and unprecedented change.
Thank you for your understanding and patience, we will continue to keep you connected wherever you may be, and please stay safe!
