The scope of performance testing offered at AGA covers household dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers, clothes washing machines, clothes dryers, water heaters, water efficiency products as well as MEP’s (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) approvals for the purpose of energy labelling.

The AGA Laboratory performance testing officers collectively have over 40 years’ experience in the whitegoods industry which is accompanied by a state of the art facility with a number of climate controlled test rooms and over 15 dedicated test bays which gives us the capacity to not only provide knowledgeable and high quality testing services, but do so in a timely manner for all our customers.

The AGA Laboratory is ISO 17025 certified and NATA accredited to test to the following Australian Standards in the Performance testing field:

Dishwashers: AS/NZS 2007.1 and AS/NZS 2007.2

Clothes washing machines: AS/NZS 2040.1 and AS/NZS 2040.2

Clothes dryers: AS/NZS 2442.1 and AS/NZS 2442.2

Household refrigerators and freezers: AS/NZS 4474.1 and AS/NZS 4474.2

Water heaters: AS 1056.1, AS/NZS 4692.1 and AS/NZS 4692.2

Standby power measurements: AS/NZS 62301, IEC 62301 ed.2.0

Water efficiency products: Rating and labelling to AS/NZS 6400, clauses 2.2 and 2.3 only
